I am so excited to announce my creative retreats called Inspiration to Creation! Before the air becomes too cold and wind as fast as the holidays carry us away, lets make space for ourselves before Thanksgiving! I have the honor to co-host a beautiful gathering with Marianna Coppola of Creations by Coppola in her new location at 1724 East Passyunk Ave. Philadelphia, PA! She is a super talented floral designer from beautiful Naples who has lived here for several years and recently opened up her floral design shop in the heart of Passyunk Square.
Our vision for this creative retreat (and future retreats) is to create an environment that is restful, inspiring, full of nature, art, peace and time to rejuvenate. Something magical, intangible and transformative happens when you allow your mind a moment of space to create and the freedom to try something new!
With this in mind, we will be spending time in a place with inspiration, learning something new in art, design and watercolor paintings based on inspiration generated from floral bouquets you get to put together.
We will teach in a natural and modern/contemporary aesthetic. I will offer instruction in watercolor painting: merging art+nature with an organic and gestural hand. Each participant will learn something new and create something of beauty! The experience of giving time and space to create will leave you feeling light hearted, inspired and encouraged to continue in your own space at home if you want.
