The Summer's Day Collection:
This was created on the sunny beach close to where I live. Inspired by being in the moment with my family and supplies on hand.
Mary Oliver's 'The Summer Day' is depicted in response to her question: "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your on wild and precious life?
These paintings are poetry in motion in the moment with raw emotion. Painted on handmade Kozo paper from a woman owned business in Maine. The watercolor paint is handmade from small batch in San Francisco.
This abstract series focused on emotion and senses in the moment. Painted with seawater collected in my kids sand bucket.
Some pieces still have sand stuck in the oil pastel. Each Item comes with a 3.5 x 5 acrylic block.
